Organizing an outdoor adventure for your youth group has enough inherent challenges so let The Rivermen take the hassle out of planning meals and making sleeping arrangements. Leave your tents and cooking equipment at home!

The R.O.C. is fully equipped to handle large groups with ravenous appetites and rowdy dispositions. Our convenient open-air breakfast and dinner buffets provide hearty and nutritious meals to get your group going, both on and off the river. And there is plenty of sleeping space to be found with a variety of lodging choices. Try our spacious cabin tents with bunk style beds to experience the fun of camping outdoors. Or “rough” it indoors in one of our rustic Ranch Rooms. If you prefer staying in nearby Fayetteville, Blumehaven is a convenient choice located less than a mile away near restaurants and shopping. Country Breakfast
It is amazing how much energy you will expend on the River just having fun so be sure to power up with a hearty breakfast before getting on the water. There is no better way to start your day than with our tasty breakfast buffet.

WV Dinner Buffet
After a big day of adventure and fun, your group will be famished and ready for a delicious hot meal when the bus rolls into base camp. So take advantage of our convenient dinner buffets with a different country-style meal each day of the week. You won't want to miss it!

LODGING OPTIONS

Camping
At the end of the day, you'll be ready for a little rest and relaxation around the campfire. Our isolated camping area is tucked away from outside interruptions and nestled under a canopy of leaves and limbs. It's the perfect place to get back to nature. Space is limited, so book early.

Cabin Tents

Our remodeled cabin tents have a wooden frame, metal roof, canvas sides, and are built on sturdy wooden platforms. Each cabin tent sleeps up to eight in bunk beds and comes equipped with a charcoal grill and picnic table. Just bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and towel and you’re all set!

Ranch Rooms
R.O.C.'s rustic ranch rooms offer alternative "indoor camping" if you are squeamish about sleeping in the great outdoors. They were built with convenience and economy in mind and while these rooms do have heat, there is no AC. Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and towel. All ranch rooms sleep up to 6 in bunk beds.

Blumehaven
Blumehaven Inn is located just minutes away from the Rivermen Outdoor Center in historic Fayetteville. It’s a pleasant, convenient and affordable lodging choice for church, youth, and activity groups or for large groups of friends or families. In the tradition of a traveler’s inn, seven large rooms accommodate four to six guests per room in twin and full size bunk beds. Bedding is provided, but bring your own pillow and towel.

Country Cabins

New! If you want to experience a part of West Virginia's rich cultural heritage, opt to spend an evening in one of our old-fashioned log cabins. Each one sleeps 4 and measures 12' X 12' with a 6' covered porch. They offer cozy shelter with heat and electricity but remember this is an outdoor adventure company, so no A/C. Each cabin includes one double bed and one bunk bed with clean linens. Pillows and heavy blankets are not provided so please bring your own. There is also a picnic table and fire ring with cooking grill for barbeques.
